Our truffle butter is frozen after we have made it and will last for six moths if kept frozen. Once defrosted it should be kept refrigerated and should be used in 2-3 weeks.
We produce the truffle butter from August to December and supply of a first come, first served basis. Depending on demand we may have Truffle Butter available most of the year, but as it freezes, we advise to plan ahead to avoid disappointment.
Our Truffle Butter is made with just salted butter and 10% truffle – no additives or flavourings. This means the wonderful taste and flavour is all truffles. As we add twice the amount of truffle usually recommended, which means you get the pure truffle wow factor, when you eat it.
Always add the butter once food is cooked so you don’t lose the beautiful aroma. Try cooking pasta and mixing it in after straining, or a large dollop on steak works wonderfully. One friend has it on his crackers instead of the cheese!
During the festive season nothing works better with turkey – hot or cold, than a large dollop of truffle butter.
